Next Generation Teacher Education at PKM

In the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Next Generation Teacher Education at PKM aims at the whole person development of the student teachers for which seven goals to be attained through the two year B.Ed.programme have been set:

Becoming teachers who are:

• Peace Builders
• Environment Protectors
• Equity Upholders
• Health Promoters
• Humanity Propagators
• Digital Experts
• Research Undertakers

The college intends to realize these objectives through a Mega Curricular Project extending to a period of 10 years (2020-2030) titled “Next Generation Teacher at PKM”; beneficiaries (recipients) of which would be the student teachers of 10 batches commencing from the student teachers of 2019-20 academic year. The project is designed as a cyclic process of two years extending to attain the goals by 2030.
