Care our Earth

• In the context of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation;SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy; SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Protection; SDG 13: Climate Action; SDG 14: Life Below Water; SDG 15: Life on Land) The Next Generation Teacher Education at PKM aims to develop Teachers as Environmental Protectors.
• ‘Care our Earth’ initiative is initiated in the Silver Jubilee Year of the college for the protection of our mother earth.
• The movement intends to develop Sensitivity to Fellow Beings among stake holders through various programmes/ activities/projects in and outside the college.
• The initiative intends to develop Sensitivity towards Nature among the stake holders through various programmes/activities/projects related to air/water/soil/energy conservation, sustainable agriculture, climate action Plastic/Electronic/Medical/Nuclear waste management etc.
