Objectives

Updating Examination Rules

Formulating and updating examination rules and guidelines to align with the regulations and standards set by Kannur University.

Question Paper Setting and marks standardisation

Ensuring the creation of well-constructed examination papers that are relevant and fair. Internal mark standardisation processes are in place to maintain accuracy and fairness.

Examination Coordination

Overseeing the logistical aspects of examinations, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and the smooth conduct of examinations to minimize disruptions.

Result Compilation and verification

Collecting, verifying, and publishing examinations results in a timely and accurate manner. Maintaining confidentiality and integrity in the result verification process.

Technology Integration

Adapting and implementing technological solutions in examination processes, such as online assessments and digital result dissemination, in alignment with Kannur University's guidelines.

Academic Misconduct Prevention

Investigating and taking necessary actions in cases of academic misconduct, ensuring a secure and honest academic environment.

Continuous Improvement

Regularly reviewing and enhancing examination processes, seeking feedback from stakeholders, and implementing improvements for the overall betterment of the assessment system.
